The Metropolitan Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public to help identify a suspect linked to a recent burglary in Northwest D.C. The crime took place during the early hours of Thursday, July 25, 2024, on the 1600 block of 7th Street.
According to the department's report, around 1:31 a.m., the suspect managed to forcibly gain entry into an establishment. Once inside, the individual promptly proceeded to take various items before fleeing the area. The authorities have yet to estimate the total value of the stolen property.
Local residents and businesses are encouraged to come forward with any information that may contribute to locating the suspect.
