The Novi Police Department has successfully located Walter Christopher, an 85-year-old man who was reported missing on Monday. According to FOX 17 News, Christopher was last seen on the same day traveling southbound on Northland Drive and M-57 in Kent County at approximately 6:13 p.m. The missing man had left his residence in Novi, at the intersection of 13 Mile Road and Meadowbrook Road, around 9 a.m.
Fears had escalated as Christopher, described as being 6′0″ tall and weighing 180 pounds, failed to return home after he left early in the morning. In an appeal to the public, the City of Novi released a statement, acknowledging the vulnerability of the missing man, and describing his last-known attire as "dark shorts and a print shirt." The local community was urged to come forward with any information that could help to safely recover him.

Michigan State Police Troopers were the ones to find Christopher in Manistee after what must have seemed a boundless search across the counties. As per FOX 17 News, the Novi Police Department confirmed that he was found on Tuesday, and reassured the public that he was "safe and in good health."
