To crack down on organized retail crime and cargo theft, a warehouse in Jurupa Valley has become the focal point of a significant recovery operation. According to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, a search warrant was executed on August 2, which led to the discovery of more than 300 pallets of what is suspected to be stolen merchandise. Among the items seized were high-end gaming computers and small appliances.
The search was carried out by the Moreno Valley Sheriff's Station Special Enforcement Team (SET) at approximately 12:20 P.M. at a warehouse situated within the 3400 block of De Forest Circle. Found during the search, deputies detained 33-year-old Yong Li, who was later arrested with charges that included receiving stolen property and an aggravated white-collar crime enhancement. Li's arrest is part of a broader investigation that began in February 2024.
This case is being treated as an ongoing investigation by the authorities, with additional information not yet available. They are urging the public to come forward with any knowledge that may be related to the stolen goods or individuals involved.
