The Metropolitan Police Department is actively seeking the public's assistance to identify a group of individuals connected to a simple assault incident in Northwest Washington. The assault, which was reported to have occurred in the early hours of July 21, took place as the victim was leaving a convenience store on U Street, as detailed by the Metropolitan Police Department.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, several suspects approached and began to assault the victim before fleeing the scene.
