A 44-year-old Needles, CA man, identified as Shawn Walen, has been arrested in connection with an alleged theft from his employer. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department, Walen was taken into custody on Tuesday at his residence after evidence suggested that he had been stealing money from a business's cash register over time.
Caught on video surveillance, the incident first came under investigation on July 24 when deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department were summoned to a business on the 1900 Block of J Street following a theft report. With a bail set at $30,000.00, the suspected employee now awaits his court hearing after being booked for grand theft of property by an employee.
While the identity of the victim's business remains confidential, authorities encourage anyone with further insights into the case to reach out. Deputy E.
