In a scene reminiscent of television's dark drug dramas, Orange County law enforcement uncovered a substantial quantity of narcotics at what has been described as a clandestine drug lab. The bust, which took place on Wednesday, resulted in the seizure of an estimated 300,000 pills suspected to be fentanyl along with various drug manufacturing equipment, as the Buena Park Police Department executed multiple search warrants, according to KTLA.
The investigation, initially focusing on a 26-year-old Buena Park resident, extended through locations in Buena Park, Westminster, and culminated in Fountain Valley where the drug-making operation was discovered notifying the public through an Instagram post by the police department.
The operation at the Fountain Valley location, on the 10600 block of Ellis Street, involved the collaboration between the officers from Buena Park Police Department's Community Impact Team and the Orange County Environmental Health Hazardous Materials Team, the latter dealing with the hazardous substances on-site, as per the authorities.
As the investigation presses forward, the Buena Park Police Department is eager for additional information and encourages witnesses or those knowledgeable about the operation to contact Sergeant Jon Shaddow at 714-562-3915.
