In the early hours of Monday, Oxnard became the scene of a violent shooting as police reported that two men were found with gunshot wounds. According to the Oxnard Police Department, officers rushed to the 300 block of North G Street after residents dialed in the emergency. The response team came upon a 41-year-old man, hit by multiple shots, and another, a 43-year-old, injured by a singular bullet.
The investigation is currently in the hands of the Oxnard Police Department Violent Crimes Unit. While both victims were swiftly taken to the hospital where the younger man faces a critical condition, the elder rests in a more stable state.
