In a recent bust by the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety, a Petaluma woman was arrested on multiple charges related to methamphetamine possession and intent to sell. The incident occurred last Wednesday during a routine patrol near Rohnert Park Expressway and Labath Ave. Officers spotted a vehicle with a defective headlight, prompting them to conduct a traffic stop.
Upon initial contact with the driver, identified as Angelique Brown, 52, officers observed drug paraphernalia within the vehicle. A further search turned up 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine. This discovery was followed by an additional stash on Brown herself, according to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety. During their intervention, the authorities ascertained that the accused was allegedly carrying the substance with the intention of distribution.
Brown, forthcoming with the officers during the traffic stop, did not deny the allegations of her involvement in illicit drug activities. She confessed to possessing methamphetamine for sale. Following her arrest, she was booked into Sonoma County Jail on a slew of charges, including possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine for sale, and transporting methamphetamine with the intention for sale.
