
A 22-year-old man named Rashawn Hall was apprehended on August 12, following his alleged involvement in a road rage shooting that happened last month on the Parkway West. The incident took place near Exit 69A on Interstate 376, where police responded to reports of gunfire, according to reports from WPXI.
After being struck by a bullet that wounded his eye, a 60-year-old man was discovered severely hurt but has since shown signs of recovery. Hall is currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail and faces charges of aggravated assault, attempted homicide, and conspiracy to quickly exact revenge after the chaotic interstate dispute.
According to WTAE, the victim, Bob Long, is a father and grandfather residing in Indiana, in the region for work-related reasons at the time of the shooting. He was, according to his pastor, critically injured that day and his wife has confirmed that he has since been upgraded to the lowest level of critical care.
Police describe the July 14 incident as a severe case of road rage, taking place just outside the Fort Pitt Tunnel after being admitted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, an image of Long was shared showing the man up and walking, a promising sign of recovery amidst the trauma inflicted.
