The incident, which occurred yesterday morning, involved an unidentified individual forcibly entering a premises on the 700 block of H Street, Northeast. The suspect is said to have taken an undisclosed amount of property before making their escape, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Officials are reaching out to the public to help quickly identify and locate the person responsible for this crime. The burglary happened at approximately 5:30 a.m. when the suspect managed to break open a door to the unoccupied business. Details surrounding the nature of the stolen items have yet to be disclosed.
