
The Round Rock community breathes a collective sigh of relief as 14-year-old Jeremiah Nelms, missing since Wednesday afternoon, has been found and is once again in the embrace of his family, CBS Austin reports. The boy's disappearance, casting a shadow across the city, sparked an immediate and intensive search by the Round Rock Police Department, who had earlier appealed to the public for any information on his whereabouts.

Jeremiah was last sighted near Lake Creek Pool, described by authorities as a Hispanic male standing 5 feet and 8 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair adorning his young frame, was wearing a black shirt and gray shorts at that time, law enforcement officials had urged anyone with knowledge to come forward and assist in locating the missing youth. It was a case that caught the immediate attention of the community, which came together in fevered hope for his safe return.
In a turn of events that brought monumental relief to his family and residents alike, the teenager’s safety was confirmed by police officials around 9 p.m., details of his whereabouts during the missing period, however, remain undisclosed.
