They emerged physically unscathed despite their vehicle being struck by bullets.

Earlier that day, Long Beach officers intervened in another incident involving illegal activities. While surveilling Gardenia Avenue and E Pacific Coast Highway around 6:27 p.m., the police stumbled upon a group of men gambling. The officers' investigation led to the recovery of an unserialized gun, also known as a ghost gun due to its lack of traceable serial numbers.
