Looking into Monday, the city will wake to similar foggy conditions before 11 a.m., then, the gradual clearing will lead to a sunny afternoon with highs nudging a slightly warmer 92 degrees. This pattern of morning clouds followed by sunny afternoons is expected to repeat on Tuesday and Wednesday, with temperatures maintaining their grip on the low 90s.
The evenings throughout the week offer a bit of relief, with most nights clear and lows generally around the comfortable upper 60s. The exception comes on Wednesday and Thursday nights where patches of fog are expected after 11 p.m. with, the mercury dipping to the mid-60s. As we advance toward the weekend, the marine layer will assert itself more strongly with patchy fog forecasted for both Friday and Saturday mornings, otherwise the sun will hold sway. Highs on these days are anticipated to be in the mid-80s offering, a slight cooldown to conclude the week.
