
The Arlington County Police Department recently apprehended a suspect connected to a bank robbery that occurred in the Crystal City neighborhood. In a press release provided by the Arlington County Police Department, Dave Jobson, 63, from Florida has been charged with bank robbery and is currently awaiting extradition while being held in Washington DC.
According to the Arlington County Police Department, the heist took place at the Bank of America on 1425 S. Eads Street at roughly 11:37 a.m. five days ago. Jobson is alleged to have passed a note to a bank teller and insinuated he was armed, although no weapon was reportedly seen or brandished during the incident. After obtaining an undisclosed sum of money, the suspect promptly left the scene. There were no physical injuries reported following the robbery.
The investigation into the Crystal City bank robbery remains ongoing.
