An arrest has been made in connection with a recent shooting in the Southeast area of Washington, D.C. The incident, which took place earlier this week, resulted in injuries to a victim who was shot as she was leaving her vehicle. Detectives quickly identified and arrested a suspect the next day. Mekhi Wilkins, an 18-year-old resident of Northwest D.C., has been taken into custody and is facing charges.
