
An armed robbery in Northeast D.C. was promptly diffused thanks to the Metropolitan Police Department's swift response, leading to the arrest of suspect Antonio McCoy. On Monday afternoon, officers received a report from a victim in the 1500 block of Benning Road, detailing a robbery executed by two individuals, one of whom brandished a knife, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Department.
Police efforts were immediate, resulting in McCoy, a 45-year-old resident of Northeast, D.C., being charged with armed robbery involving a knife. According to the MPD, the suspect is now in custody.
