
A police chase spanning from Los Angeles to Simi Valley ended in the arrest of two teenagers after they crashed a stolen car and attempted to escape on foot early Thursday morning. According to the KTLA, the chase began around 7:30 a.m. when the Los Angeles Police Department started pursuing the vehicle, which was initially identified in the San Fernando Valley.
Simi Valley Police Department, in a later collaboration with LAPD, located the teens after they crashed at Clear Springs Road and fled into a nearby field. The officers subsequently apprehended them on Katherine Street about an hour after the crash, as per KTLA
Both juveniles are residents of Los Angeles County, and they face charges of vehicle theft under California Vehicle Code 10851 VC and criminal conspiracy under 182 PC. Following the apprehension and legal processing, the teens were handed over to the custody of their parents as detailed in an official statement by SVPD., as reported by the Simi Valley Police Department.
