Albers, a Georgia Room Library Assistant, is set to give a talk on The Secrets and Scandals of Colonial Georgia. The lecture aims to provide a peek into the unsavory and little-known events that have long been overshadowed by the grand narrative of Georgia's history. Following her talk, Albers will openly engage in a Q&A session with the audience, ready to expand on the evening's revelations.
Holding an MLIS from Valdosta State University, Albers is known both within her community in Marietta and beyond as a resourceful guide through the complex branches of genealogy and the nuances of historical research. Her writings, often touching on eclectic subjects such as travel and parenting, reflect a diverse span of interests, providing her with a distinctive voice that is expected to resonate through her presentation.
