Universal Orlando Resort is slated to give the creeps and chills a bit earlier this year with Halloween Horror Nights kicking off this Friday. Noted as the world's premier Halloween event by its organizers, this season promises to bring the scares with an unprecedented start date. Starting August 30, and running through November 3, the park will transform into a nightmare landscape on select nights, as reported by WFTV.
A peek into this year's lineup, reveals 10 haunted houses with themes as diverse as "Insidious: The Further" and "A Quiet Place," and not to forget the nostalgic yet frightful, "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire." To quickly get you into the spirit of things, five scare zones are also meticulously planted around the theme park, as detailed by WESH.
A unique feature this time around is the inclusion of American Sign Language in the "A Quiet Place" house. This detail aims to enhance the silent yet terrifying ambiance of the backdrop. Fans will also have a chance to confront the "Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America," which became a crowd-pleaser on the West Coast, according to a sneak peek provided by WESH. This represents one of the six original houses featured exclusively at this year's event.
Ahead of the official opening, eager visitors can snatch tickets for Thursday night's "Scream Night," for a special preview. Details regarding ticket purchases and available nights can be found by following the provided link to Universal's event page.
With a lineup that features five additional and sinisterly curated scare zones filled with creatures to provoke both awe and terror, guests to the Universal Orlando Resort should thoroughly prepare themselves for an immersive and chilling experience.
