
The search is on for George Wooten, a 12-year-old boy from Detroit who has been missing since yesterday after he unexpectedly jumped out of his mother's car. The Detroit Police Department is actively looking for information that could lead to his whereabouts. The incident took place in the 17200 block of W. McNichols when George exited the stopped vehicle and was unable to be located by his mother. The WWJ Newsradio report describes George as a Black male, roughly 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing around 120 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, and was last seen wearing a black shirt, beige shorts, and white ‘Air Force One’ shoes.
In efforts to amplify the search, the Detroit Police Department has appealed to social media too, urging the public to assist in the search for Wooten, who is still missing, their post includes direct contact information for anyone with leads.
