Warren Police Investigate Suspicious Death of Man Found Next to Fish Tank

Warren police are actively investigating the death of a 39-year-old man after he was found dead in his home near a fish tank yesterday evening. According to CBS News Detroit, authorities responded to a call about an unresponsive person at a residence in the 11000 block of Hanover Drive around 7:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers confirmed the death of the man, identified as a resident of the house. Lt. John Gajewski described the death as "suspicious" and said, "An autopsy will be performed by the Macomb County Medical Examiner's Office, which will hopefully shed more light on the circumstances leading up to this incident," Gajewski reassured the public stating there is believed to not be any danger in connection to the ongoing investigation, as detailed by The Detroit News.

FOX 2 Detroit reported that investigators are examining if the fish tank found near the man may be connected to his death. Details surrounding the circumstances of the death are currently sparse as detectives are working to uncover the cause of the incident.
