On Thursday, families in White Settlement are in for a treat as the White Settlement ISD Back to School Rally gears up to offer a family-friendly bonanza of activities, including water slides, inflatables, a foam party, and yes, free hot dogs. According to the City of White Settlement, the rally is set to happen from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Brewer High School Stadium.
Community members looking to kick-start the academic year with a bang will find more than 30 local organizations providing games, activities, and giveaways, alongside the much-anticipated opportunity to meet the members of sports teams, band, Honeycomb Drill Team, as well as cheerleaders. Spirits are expected high as the families, and students can also score some school spirit gear to show their unwavering support throughout the upcoming school year.
In addition to the fair-like atmosphere, performances by the Fightin' Bear Band, the Honeycomb Drill Team, and BHS cheerleaders will entertain, showcasing the talent brewing within the walls of Brewer High School. All indicators point to an evening that not only celebrates the onset of a new semester but also knits the fabric of the community tighter through shared experiences and enthusiastic participation.
