Upon arrival, the officers discovered a shattered glass door and signs of a hasty search in the master bedroom, indicating a burglary had taken place.
The Atherton Police Department (APD) has confirmed that the break-in is under active investigation. Due to the ongoing nature of the probe, officials have not released further details.
