The apprehension of a suspect, identified as Jasmine Dejonar Mitchell, stemmed from an assault that left a manager seriously injured after a dispute over an order at the local eatery. Using the department's Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) system, officials were alerted late last night when the vehicle associated with the suspect entered Benicia. Officers successfully located and identified Mitchell as the driver, arresting the 35-year-old female without incident, as per the Benicia Police Department.
