A Brockton man, Marckenson Beauge, 22, is in custody after being deemed a danger to the community following an alleged sexual assault on a minor. The dangerousness hearing which took place on Friday in the Brockton District Court concluded with Beauge being held without bail on charges including Rape of a Child with Force, Indecent Assault and Battery on a Child Under 14, and Kidnapping of a Child, according to Plymouth County District Attorney's announcement through a Facbook post of Brockton Police Department.

This case stemmed from an incident reported to Brockton School Police by a female student who, during her walk home from school around 3:30 p.m. on September 17, claimed she had been sexually assaulted, the attacker's description detailed down to his lack of front teeth, disheveled hair, and the distinctive blue bicycle he rode. The student managed to break free from her assailant and sought help from school faculty the following day, her testimony and description of the perpetrator's clothing leading to a focused investigation by local authorities.

Following her report, the Brockton School Police initiated a thorough investigation that quickly led them to name Marckenson Beauge as a person of interest, and by September 20, a search warrant for his 20 Cherry Street residence was issued. Although Beauge was not present during the execution of the warrant, He was apprehended at his workplace in Easton without resistance and subsequently appeared in court.

Beauge is expected to reappear in court on October 29, where the court will delve further into the probable causes of the charges against him.
