
A 17-year-old Brockton resident, Khamitri Cole, was tragically killed and an 18-year-old from Holyoke was injured in an early morning shooting inside a mobile home in Taunton, Mass., officials announced. According to a statement by Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, which was obtained by Boston 25 News, the police responded to the scene on Lothrop Street shortly after receiving a distress call at approximately 12:25 am.
The first responding officers found Cole at the scene, where he was pronounced dead minutes later at 12:45 a.m. Meanwhile, the second teen, whose identity has not been released, transported himself to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
