Residents of Campbell have been coping with a series of vandalism after numerous businesses and vehicles fell victim to BB gun shootings between September 21 and September 25. The Campbell Police Department (CPD) reported that vandalism shattered windows across the city, leaving the community with over $21,700 in damages.

To respond quickly, the CPD deployed its Patrol Officers and Special Enforcement Division (SED) detectives to investigate the incidents. Using surveillance footage alongside Flock technology, the CPD identified 19-year-old Frank Vincent Ramos Jr. of San Jose as the suspect.

Last Friday morning, officers arrested Ramos in a coordinated effort outside the Bank of America at the Pruneyard Shopping Center. According to the official release from Campbell Police Department, during the search of Ramos's vehicle, police recovered "a black .44 magnum replica BB gun on the driver side floorboard and half an empty bottle of BBs in the center console."

Ramos is facing charges of felony vandalism and willfully discharging a BB gun in a grossly negligent manner.
