Pima residents should be aware that the deadline to register to vote for the November 5 general election is approaching. To ensure your registration is complete, please visit the Pima County Recorder's Office website by October 7. This is the last chance to register or update your information before the election.
If you’re already registered, it’s important to verify that your voter information is accurate and up to date. To avoid long lines on election day, consider requesting an early ballot. You can call 520-724-4330 or complete the online form on the Pima County Recorder's Office website.
October is packed with important dates for voters: early ballots will be mailed starting October 9, which is also when early voting begins. Locations for early voting will be approved by the Board of Supervisors on October 1 and will be available on the Recorder's Office website. The final day to request a mail-in ballot is October 25, with a recommended return date of October 29. For those who prefer to vote in person, early voting will be available until November 1.
If you find yourself in need of last-minute voting options, emergency voting is available on November 2 and 4—check the Recorder’s website for locations. On election day, November 5, Pima County will have 126 Vote Centers open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., featuring on-demand ballot printing for flexibility in casting your vote. It is recommended to plan ahead, as Pima County's ballot will consist of two cards this year.
In addition to the presidential election, the 2024 ballot will feature a variety of local and state contests, along with 13 statewide propositions and up to six local or school-related measures. Pima County voters are encouraged to review a sample ballot and note their preferences to bring along when voting. For detailed information, including a map of Vote Center locations, visit the Pima County website.
