Details provided by the Detroit Police Department's Missing Persons page describe Maldonado as a Hispanic female, with a physical account of 5'2" in height and weighing 110 lbs. She has copper hair and hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, navy blue Adidas pants, and blue Jordan shoes. Maldonado left her home on Belletere, located near Livernois and Grand River Avenue, on Friday, Sept. 20, without permission, her family didn't note her absence until she failed to return enabling a delayed report of her missing status on Sept. 24.
