It has been reported that she departed from her home without requesting permission and has not been seen since.
Kamiya's family reported her absence on the same day, which has prompted an immediate and ongoing search by authorities. She is described as being approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, and weighing around 130 lbs., at the time she left home she was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black leggings, and black Crocs. The Detroit Police Department's 2nd Precinct has issued an appeal for any information regarding Kamiya's whereabouts, urging individuals who may know something to come forward.
