A recent traffic incident sparked an investigation after an 81-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle and caused substantial damage and injury in the Canton neighborhood. According to WWJ Newsradio, the crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. yesterday, in which a 2014 GMC Acadia operated by the senior citizen veered off the road at Saltz and Redfern, collided with a garage, and then proceeded to strike a 52-year-old man in the backyard of an adjacent property.

The ClickOnDetroit report noted that the man suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries as a result.
