
A fire that swept through an Everett triplex yesterday has resulted in the tragic loss of two family pets and inflicted structural damage severe enough to collapse the roof. The blaze, which proved visible from Mukilteo Boulevard, required firefighters to shift from offensive to defensive operations as they battled against the rapidly deteriorating conditions, as reported by FOX13 Seattle.
In the wake of the incident, the Everett Fire Department confirmed the unfortunate demise of two cats, and while no residents were injured, five individuals have been displaced due to the extensive damage caused by the fire, this catastrophe unfolded on the heels of another blaze that had previously ravaged an apartment complex, injuring three, leaving twenty without a home.
The KIRO 7 coverage noted that despite the severity of the situation, the occupants of the triplex managed to escape unscathed, alluding to the fortunate absence of personal injuries amongst the residents amidst the harrowing ordeal.
