The Fairfield Police Department is requesting assistance in tracking down a driver involved in a recent hit-and-run. The incident, which took place around the intersection of Link Road and Pittman Road last Friday at approximately 7:55 pm, left a bicyclist victim in its wake.
Despite several 911 calls from witnesses, the authorities arrived to find the perpetrator absent, having fled the scene without a trace. A lack of description for the vehicle and the driver hampers the investigation. This necessitates an eye from the community, an ear to the ground, hoping someone out there can lead them to the fugitive motorist.
