The Kennesaw's Parks & Recreation Department is hosting their annual Fall-O-Ween Fest, and it's all happening at "Spook-Central Park", aka Swift-Cantrell Park, come October 19 from 3 to 7 p.m. Dress up in your best costumes and enjoy a day of candy quests and fun for free.
The Fall-O-Ween Fest offers a family-friendly activities, including a candy trail, costume contests, and a scavenger hunt. Craft booths promise a creative fun, while the field games and music set the stage for a lively atmosphere. Also, "Halloweentown" (G) will be projected on a large inflatable screen at night.
For dog lovers, bring your pets along. The Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Costume Contest is open to dogs as well as ghouls of all ages. According to a statement obtained by the official website for the city of Kennesaw, "Prizes will be awarded to three winners during each time slot," with contests running every 30 minutes from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Dress your pups in their Halloween best for a chance to win some prizes.
For a comfortable evening under the stars, attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or low-back chairs. To ensure everyone gets a clear view of the movie, however, the installation of pop-up tents, canopies, and beach umbrellas will not be permitted. Swift-Cantrell Park is conveniently located at 3140 Old 41 Highway, with plenty of parking available in the park, and additional spaces at neighboring Kennesaw Elementary School. Selector Realty and Renasant Bank are the presenters of this year's Fall-O-Ween Fest.
