The Federal Bureau of Investigation Milwaukee Division, in collaboration with the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD), has publicly called for assistance in identifying a man implicated in a bank robbery that transpired one year ago. The incident continues to elude resolution, prompting this renewed appeal to the community for input. The law enforcement agencies are not just seeking tips but are incentivizing information with a monetary reward; the Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering up to $5,000 for details that significantly progress the investigation towards an arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for the bank heist.

At around 4:49 p.m. on a September afternoon, a man robbed the PNC Bank at 1930 E. North Avenue in Milwaukee, implying he had a weapon. He demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. The Federal Bureau of Investigation describes the suspect as a white male, aged 40 to 50, about 5’10” tall, and weighing around 175 pounds. Earlier, he was seen on a Milwaukee County Transit System bus wearing a pink long-sleeved shirt and a dark baseball hat, but during the robbery, he wore a blue floppy hat, black sunglasses, a white hospital mask, a tan long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.

Officials have stressed that, fortunately, no physical injuries occurred as a consequence of the criminal act. The individual’s manner of dressing during the robbery has become a key marker for his identification, with specific attention brought to his blue floppy hat and the conspicuous white hospital mask covering his face. Visuals captured from the site of the crime and surrounding areas, including the transit system bus and at a local McDonald’s establishment, may furnish viable leads to citizens who might have sighted the suspect.

Recognizing that public collaboration is crucial, both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Milwaukee Police Department are urging anyone with information regarding the incident or the whereabouts of the subject in question to come forward. Informants may contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation Milwaukee Field Office at (414) 276-4684 or the Milwaukee Police at (414) 935-7360. Additionally, those wishing to contribute to the case while retaining anonymity may reach out to Crime Stoppers at (414) 224-TIPS or use the P3 Tips app.
