Residents and individuals with business at the A.D. Marshall Public Safety Building should take note of the upcoming closure on Monday, September 30th. In an announcement by the City of Fort Worth, the building that houses the Municipal Court will not be open to the public on this date. The closure is attributed to a staff training and development day crucial for court staff's ongoing professional growth and improving their service to the community.
The closure means that there will be no court dockets on the scheduled day. Those anticipating proceedings or needing to handle court-related matters must wait until the regular schedule resumes. The interruption in services will only last for one day. According to the news released on the official Fort Worth city website, operations will recommence on Tuesday, October 1st, across both the downtown A.D. Marshall Building on Throckmorton Street and the court’s satellite, the Vivian J. Lincoln Library on McCart Avenue.
The city has provided a point of contact if you require more information about the closure or have inquiries regarding how it may affect your arrangements with the court. Citizens are encouraged to call 817-392-6700 for clarifications or to explore additional details on the Municipal Court homepage.
