Early yesterday morning, a dispute over a motorcycle escalated into violence, resulting in the death of one man and serious injuries to another in Graham. According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, deputies were called to the 20700 block of 92nd Ave E following reports of a shooting at 1:44 am.
Upon their arrival, deputies discovered a man lying next to the street. Another victim, a 48-year-old male, was taken to the fire station at 187th and Meridian E before being transported to the hospital. Despite the severity of his wounds, he is expected to survive. His companion, aged 36, was not as fortunate and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crime.
The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department has not yet apprehended any suspects in connection with the shooting. Detectives and deputies on the scene were able to piece together that the confrontation began with an argument over a motorcycle which then tragically culminated in gunfire and bloodshed.
