Homestead became the focal point of a significant drug bust yesterday, resulting in the arrest of a suspected drug dealer, 21-year-old Terrick Bowser. Allegheny County Police conducted the operation at a residence on the 1700 block of McClure Street, where a variety of illegal substances and firearms were confiscated, as reported by WPXI.
At around 6 a.m., officers initiated the search warrant when they found multiple guns and an assortment of drugs, including crack cocaine, marijuana, and stamp bags of fentanyl, in addition to psilocybin mushrooms. The residence was not just a home but a hub for the alleged sale of controlled substances. Bowser is now facing an array of charges that includes firearms violations and possession with intent to deliver, as CBS News reported.
Upon executing the search warrant, officials discovered that Bowser was allegedly involved in the traffic of crack cocaine, which led to his detainment and may bring severe legal consequences considering the combination of firearms and drugs present at the scene pointed to a greater depth of criminal activity.
Bowser was recently charged with possession of a controlled substance and illegal firearm possession, with more updates on his case expected as it progresses.
