The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) shared a news that the missing and endangered woman, Santos Lidia Carcamo De Gutierrez, was found safe. The announcement came after an intensive search initiated following her disappearance on Jacksonville's Southside.

Carcamo De Gutierrez was last seen on the afternoon of Saturday, near the 2400 block of Una Drive. Her family had reported her missing at 10:00 p.m. that same night, expressing concern for her well-being due to her memory loss condition. She was reported to be wearing a yellow shirt, black shorts with pink flowers, and carrying a brown wallet with a shoulder strap, according to First Coast News.

The JSO thanked the community for their help in a statement obtained through Facebook post, emphasizing that the active participation of the residents played a critical role in locating Carcamo De Gutierrez. The department had previously asked for the public’s aid, urging people to check their properties, including business and residential areas, and to review any surveillance video that may have captured her movements.

Heightened by the fact that Carcamo De Gutierrez, who responds to her middle name, Lidia, and communicates only in Spanish, the JSO described her as standing five-foot-seven. Authorities have not released details about where exactly Ms. Carcamo De Gutierrez was found.
