Speaking to the vigilance of local law enforcement, a patrol officer from the Lake Dallas Police Department identified a known fugitive while on a routine patrol last Saturday. Dale Bryan Ward, aged 36, was spotted on the 200 block of Market Street. Ward, who has been noted to harbor aggression towards law enforcement and a tendency to flee from them, was found to be the subject of multiple felony warrants.
As announced on the Lake Dallas Police Department's Facebook page, the apprehension demanded coordination between the Patrol Officers and the Fugitive Apprehension and Tactical Enforcement (FATE) Team. The arrest took place without incident at the 100 block of Falcon Drive, a stretch where Ward had assumed he could evade capture.
Following the arrest, Ward was taken into custody and conveyed to the Denton County Jail, where he was booked for his outstanding felony warrants, and an additional charge of Fail to Identify False/Fictitious Info - Fugitive from Justice. This latest ordeal adds to an already hefty ledger of alleged criminal activity. The Lake Dallas Police Department praised the "great team work by those involved” in bringing Ward to justice while reinforcing the notion that collaboration is key to maintaining public safety.
Incidents like these underscore a larger narrative about the relentless pursuit of justice, an often veiled facet of peace behind our bustling cityscape. Ward's case is now processed within the legal framework where questions of his past deeds and future penance will be determined, in line with the judicial process.
