A man is now in critical condition following a violent altercation in a north-side apartment. Yesterday evening, at the Solara Apartments on the 11700 block of Parliament Street, it was reported by police that a 44-year-old man squatting in a unit was attacked. According to KENS5, the man claims he was forcibly entered upon by a man and a woman who proceeded to stab him multiple times in the torso, back, and neck at around 11 p.m.
The suspects fled the scene immediately after the incident, leaving the victim to seek help from another apartment building nearby. As a result of his injuries, the man was taken to the hospital, and he remains in critical condition. Unfortunately, due to the severity of the situation, the victim was unable to provide a description of the assailants to the authorities searching for a homeless couple.
Subsequent to the stabbing, police launched an investigation into the nearby homeless camps, in pursuit of the man and woman responsible for the attack. The efforts to find the suspects were detailed by FOX San Antonio, indicating that the investigation was focusing on these areas.
