
The Metropolitan Police Department is calling on the community for help in tracking down a suspect tied to an armed robbery in Southeast D.C. The crime took place on the 2800 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast, on Monday at around 9:29 p.m., as reported on the department's website.
During the incident, the suspect, who has not been identified, allegedly approached the victim wielding a weapon. After demanding the victim's belongings with the weapon brandished, the victim complied and the suspect made off with their property. The police have since been canvassing the area, searching for leads.
