The Milwaukee Police Department is seeking the public's assistance following a hit-and-run incident that left a 17-year-old with serious injuries. The collision occurred near Glen Park and Green Bay around 11:40 p.m. on Friday, according to CBS58. The police are on the lookout for a black Infiniti 2-door car, which may be a G37x, and was last spotted near Green Bay and Hampton. This vehicle reportedly has no license plates and is expected to show damage to the hood and windshield.
Local authorities have described the event as a reckless endangerment to safety, with the driver allegedly running a red light, striking two pedestrians, before proceeding to flee the scene. Of the two individuals hit, the teenager was urgent rushed to a hospital for treatment of their injuries, while a 34-year-old pedestrian refused medical attention, as per the report from WISN. Despite the grave circumstances faced, the injuries of the hospitalized youth are not life-threatening.
Following the incident, the Milwaukee Police Department has reached out for community support in identifying and locating the suspect who was behind the wheel of the black Infiniti.
