
In a solemn remembrance shared on social media, the Minneapolis Police Department paid tribute to the lives lost during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. On the anniversary of one of the darkest days in American history, a moment of silence was observed across their radio channels, a gesture to honor the memory of those who perished on that fateful September morning, as per the Minneapolis Police Department.
Commanding respect and reflection, Chief Brian O'Hara spoke to the weight of the day, "We will never stop honoring and remembering the 343 firefighters of the FDNY, 37 police officers of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, 23 police officers of the NYPD, the thousands who participated in the rescue and recovery operations at Ground Zero, those who later died and those who continue to suffer from 9/11 related illnesses," stated by the Minneapolis Police Department.
In their digital homage, which is viewable on their official Facebook page, the Minneapolis Police Department anticipated to forge a collective moment of memory and respect. "We shall never forget.
