According to the National Weather Service update from September 21st, temperatures are expected to remain high with today's sunny weather reaching near 90 degrees Fahrenheit and calm winds becoming east around 5 mph in the morning.
As residents enjoy a clear night with lows around 76 degrees, the wind is expected to subside becoming calm in the evening, residents looking forward to another sunny day on Sunday with a predicted high near 88 degrees, this calm pattern continues into the week with temperatures consistently hovering in the high 80s and lows in the mid-70s before a chance of showers and thunderstorms mid-week disrupts the calms. The southeast wind will be around 5 mph becoming calm by evening, as per the National Weather Service.
Looking ahead, the National Weather Service predicts that the start of the week will maintain the same sunny disposition, with Monday also reaching highs near 88 degrees and calm winds making a shift to the east in the morning period. This tranquil weather remains through Tuesday night, where the sky is expected to stay mostly clear with lows around 76 degrees and a persistent east wind at 5 mph.
Change is on the horizon though, as the forecast calls for a chance of showers and thunderstorms beginning Wednesday afternoon, the sunny skies still dominate the morning with highs reaching near 87 degrees and an east wind picking up to 5 to 10 mph—shower and thunderstorm chances increase through Thursday and Friday signaling a shift to more volatile autumn weather patterns as temperatures start to dip slightly, the National Weather Service anticipates that the potential thunderstorms will start to clear up by next weekend.
