Oklahoma's streets are home to individuals whose alleged crimes threaten the community's safety. Attorney General Gentner Drummond, along with various law enforcement agencies, is launching a new '10 Most Wanted' campaign to capture these fugitives and bring them to justice, as KFOR reports.
This initiative, which offers financial incentives ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, aims to leverage community support in locating individuals wanted for severe offenses including murder, sexual crimes, and drug trafficking, according to KOCO, these incentives seek to not just act as a financial reward but also to encourage active citizenship among Oklahomans, though, as AG Drummond notes, the overarching goal is clear: "The fugitives on this list are a threat to public safety. It is critical that we work together to hold these individuals accountable for their alleged crimes."
The roster of the 10 most wanted, now publicized on the Attorney General's website, features individuals linked to a variety of heinous acts; among them are Alfonso Mondragon, wanted for murder, and Jose D. Cuellar-Becerra, wanted for a range of crimes from aggravated domestic assault to drug trafficking, as per statements obtained by News 9.
