Tonight, clear skies will persist, dipping temperatures to a comfortable 57°F. The south southeast wind will continue to blow gently at around 7 mph. A similar pattern is forecasted for Tuesday with the high creeping up near 87°F and winds holding steady at 6 to 8 mph. The National Weather Service predicts this clear and quiet weather pattern to carry through the week, allowing temperatures to gradually rise, potentially hitting a near 90°F by Friday and climbing even higher into the weekend.
A hazardous weather outlook has also been issued by the National Weather Service for parts of northern, western, central, and southern Oklahoma, along with western north Texas. For today and tonight, there are no ominous weather conditions to report, however caution is advised for the week ahead. The National Weather Service alerts, "With warm temperatures and low afternoon relative humidity, elevated fire weather conditions are expected across a large part of northern and western Oklahoma on Tuesday afternoon, and again across northwestern Oklahoma on Wednesday afternoon."
