Phoenix is bracing for another week of intense heat, with daily highs expected to top 100 degrees and reach up to 108 degrees. According to the National Weather Service, the city will experience several sunny days with little relief, though nighttime temperatures may drop slightly.
Starting today, temperatures will peak at 107 degrees, with a 20 mph east-southeast wind making it feel even hotter. Tonight's low of 83 degrees might offer some relief and the rest of the week will be similarly hot, with shifting winds that won’t significantly cool things down.
Monday will see another high of 107 degrees, with clear skies making it ideal for solar power but uncomfortable for those without air conditioning. On Tuesday, temperatures will peak at 108 degrees, showing that the summer heat is relentless. The pattern of sunny days and clear nights will continue through Wednesday and Thursday, with highs of 107 and 104 degrees, respectively.
On Friday, the high will be 101 degrees, with a more comfortable low of 75 degrees at night. Saturday will see a high of around 100 degrees, offering a brief respite from the intense heat earlier in the week. Afternoon southwest breezes might provide some relief, but won't significantly cool the temperatures.
