
Last night, the Santa Clara Police Department's routine patrol led to the arrest of a man wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service. Around 9 p.m., an officer noticed a vehicle illegally parked in a disabled parking spot. When questioned, the driver provided a false identity, but police quickly uncovered his true identity.
The man was found to be on probation and had a felony warrant for his arrest. A search of the vehicle revealed stolen goods, U.S. Postal Service keys, hijacked mail, credit cards, IDs, drug paraphernalia, and a large amount of methamphetamine. It was also discovered that the suspect had attempted credit card fraud at a local Target.
