The incident unfolded inside the lobby of a bank located on the 2600 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest, at the tail-end of a workday, around 4:40 p.m., September 13, 2024. Carolina allegedly handed over a note to a bank teller—a note with a message that could chill the spine of any law-abiding citizen. The note demanded money.
